She joined the Grieshaber-Bouyer-Lab in Heidelberg in December 2020 and the Nigrovic Lab in September 2021, continuing the long standing collaboration between the two groups. Working closely together with Dr. Raquel Laza-Briviesca, she studies human neutrophil biology in states of health, acute inflammation, and remission on the example of Kawasaki disease.

Dr. Qiang Wang is a postdoctoral research fellow working on the identification of new genetic mechanisms in systemic lupus erythematosus and inflammatory arthritis. Dr. Wang received his Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from Jilin University, China, followed by his Ph.D. degree at Tufts University.
